NBA legend and Haute Time co-founder Carmelo Anthony took Rio by storm along with his all-star teammates at this summer’s Olympics, coming home with his third gold medal. To celebrate, Haute Time along with Avión Reserva 44 and JetSmarter, threw him a swanky party to celebrate his accomplishments at New York’s popular Catch NYC.

Before Carmelo Anthony and his teammates embarked on their journey to Rio, Haute Time, Avión Reserva 44, Hublot and JetSmarter threw him and his teammates a posh dinner series called the ‘Road to Gold’ throughout cities in the U.S. including Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Chicago and Houston. This time, they celebrated the end of the Road to Gold with one more gold medal in tow.

As guests entered Catch, they were greeted with signature cocktails from Avión including the St. Avión made with Avión Silver, St. Germain and fresh lime juice; the Avion Newgroni with Avión Reposado, Aperol and sweet vermouth; and the Avión Old Fashioned with Avión Añejo, simple syrup/agave, orange bitters and chocolate bitters. These cocktails made the toast to Carmelo Anthony that much sweeter.

Dinner included some of the favorite Catch specialties including Crunchy Rice Cakes, Black Cod Lettuce Wraps, Lobster Mac & Cheese, Herb Roasted Branzino, 10 oz Filet Mignon, and of course, the signature “Hit Me” Chocolate Cake, which oozes with liquid “klondike,” roasted white chocolate ice cream, brownie and devil’s food, when hit gently with a fork.
