MIDNIGHT MINUTE REPEATER

The limited-edition Midnight Minute Repeater celebrates the refinement and complexity of one of the most exclusive horological complications. The round 42 mm case is fitted with a self-winding mechanical movement. An open dial design allows for a unique view of the minute repeater mechanism that can be activated by pressing the push piece situated at 8 o’clock. Surrounded by a gold ring, a hollowed window – at the top left corner – brings emphasis to the technical innovation: two hammers gracefully engraved with Harry Winston’s initials, located on the exterior of the movement.

The circular and delicate finish of the dial gives the Midnight Minute Repeater a touch of elegance and formality. Excentered time indication, iconic arches, and a single sparkling diamond adorning the off-set window reflect Harry Winston recognizable design signature. This striking decoration keeps Harry Winston’s commitment to tradition and daring designs.

Created to audibly indicate time on demand – chiming distinct tones: low pitch for hours, altering low and high pitch for quarter hours, and high pitch for minutes – minute repeaters require both extreme technical and musical precision. Perhaps one of the most challenging complications to craft, the minute repeater remains a testament to excellence in fine watch making.

The edition is limited to 40 pieces in rose gold and 40 pieces in white gold.

This piece is an addition to the Ocean Sport™ collection. Its sporting personality highlights its powerful nature. The Ocean SportTM Chronograph is carved in ZaliumTM, an aerospace type zirconium alloy exclusive to Harry Winston in watchmaking. The material, which has a gunmetal silver-gray sheen, is lightweight, non‐allergenic, harder than titanium and extremely corrosion‐resistant.

The 44 mm ZaliumTM case frames an open-worked three-dimensional smoked blue sapphire dial, with a blue minute subdial and a matt varnished blue flange that lends added depth to the time functions. The black DLC treated automatic movement with a skeletonized chronograph module are visible beneath the Super Luminova enhanced hands. A skeletonized date disk turns steadily in order to clearly display the date at 12 o’clock.

The satin finish lugs, the push buttons, and the beveled triple arches at 3 o’clock have also been revisited in this Ocean SportTM Chronograph model. The rotating bezel, comprised of two parts, features a satin finish ZaliumTM and ZaliumTM DCL coated three-dimensional notched ring.

The Harry Winston Ocean Tourbillon GMT combines a tourbillon with a dual time-zone function. The dial has been redesigned in an all-black interpretation, in which the dual time zone displays and the tourbillon are arranged in overlapping circles. This multi-level composition places the tourbillon in the foreground, while mounted on the central axis of the tourbillon is a seconds hand rotating, as the tourbillon does, once per minute.

The time zone to which the local time display is set is shown by a pointer indicating a reference city, revealed in an aperture at the top of the dial. A day/night indication for the second time zone completes the wealth of information presented legibly.

Equipped with a self-winding mechanical movement comprised of 550 parts finished to the highest standards of haute horlogerie, hand chamfered with vertical Côtes de Genève and black ruthenium treatment, this timepiece offers a power-reserve of 110 hours.

The Ocean Tourbillon GMT is available in a strictly limited edition of 100 pieces worldwide: 50 pieces in 18K white gold and 50 pieces in 18K rose gold.

Project Z6 Blue Edition

The Project Z6 Blue Edition is the newest introduction in the Project Z series, which introduced a new material to the watch industry called ZaliumTM. Built around the sophisticated mechanics of Harry Winston’s caliber HW1010, the Project Z6 Blue Dial Edition is the ultimate high-end sports watch. The caliber HW1010 is a mechanical, hand-wound movement composed of 338 parts, which in addition to displaying the hours, minutes, and seconds (via Harry Winston’s unique “Shuriken” revolving power indicator) is also an alarm watch.

The Project Z6 Blue Edition shares the sophisticated implementation of the alarm function characteristic of the Project Z6 series, where the alarm consists of a minute repeater style hammer, which strikes a gong and produces a crisp sound. Designed to be seen, not only heard, the hammer is fixed to the ZaliumTM case to show the alarm ringing and enhance sound transmission, amplification and tone. It forms part of the Harry Winston composition of overlapping disks –one displaying the primary time, and the other showing the time for which the alarm is set, each with separate day and night indicators. Further emphasizing the practical functionality, the double barrels guarantee a full 72-hour power-reserve and ensure that the complication will not disrupt the movement timekeeping functions.

One of the most distinctive features of the Harry Winston Project Z6 Blue Edition is also the multi-level, vertical satin-brushed blue dial, which displays a number of sophisticated features and finishes, including a smoked sapphire glass effect over the alarm hour indexes, a blue sand-blasted applique at the center of the day/night indicator at 2 o’clock, and Côtes de Genève applied to the alarm subdial. The contrasting orientation and style of the finishes in different areas of the dial.

The Project Z6 Blue Edition is offered in a 44 mm ZaliumTM case, the hardness and resistance to abrasive wear of this material being enhanced by a grey DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) finish.
