In this era of watches that resemble the Sand People from Star Wars, Graham is among the most alien-looking, having introduced great avant-garde classics such as the Chronofighter series with is signature oversized crown protector and the wild-looking Swordfish Booster with iridescent PVD coating.

By comparison, the new Silverstone Tourbillograph is downright classic – even though it is still unconventional compared to many other brands. The claw-like arch of the upper bridge, coated in a black varnish for a grey effect, is a unique touch. The tourbillon cage is made of durable ruthenium, a platinum-group metal, and fully open on the dial. The elegant finishes place it in the dress-watch category, including snailed subdials and a nice Clous de Paris pattern on the bezel and pushers.

Aside from that, this is all sports watch, with chronograph hour and minute totalizers, Super-LumiNova coated hands and counters, a tachymeter scale on the flange and pushers at 2 and 4 o’clock. The watch is set to be introduced at the upcoming Baselworld show in April, and will be produced in a limited series of 50 pieces.
