Girard-Perregaux announced the launch of the Vintage 1945 Tourbillon with three gold Bridges to retail for $215,000.

The timepiece case is fashioned in pink gold, which strikes a contrast with the color of the main plate, and the barrel, lower gearwheel bridges and other bridge supports adapted a matte anthracite coating—the result of a particular combination of precious metals similar to platinum. The self-winding caliber GP9600 movement has an integrated micro-rotor housed under the barrel.

The 1945 Tourbillon combines the latest technological progress in luxury watchmaking and concentrates rare technical and manufacturer expertise into a delicately curved Art Deco-inspired case. It’s 72 components must be meticulously assembled into the diameter of just 12 millimeters.
