Dials That Break With The Color Stereotype

Dials That Break With The Color Stereotype

Blue, black and silver are by far the most common dial colors when it comes to watches. In the past gold has also been a favorite, but changing times, and the death of two-tone watches has pushed those into becoming more of a rarity as well.

That doesn’t mean however that there are not different color dials available! These are some of our favorites!

Hublot Classic Fusion Berluti

Hublot and Berluti have created together a Classic Fusion with a unique leather dial. While there is a black version of this watch, we are in love with the brown version, because it really shows off the unique texture of the leather, and truly complements the King Gold case of the watch.

Piaget Altiplano anniversary

Piaget Altiplano
The Altiplano is celebrating its 60th birthday this year and does so with a very colorful fiesta! One of them features an 18K yellow gold case with a green dial. Although we could have forgone the date window (or have a green date wheel), it is a stunning combination, that is very Piaget!

Bulgari Diagono Scuba

In diving watches color often serves a function: making them easily visible under water. However, it also helps to make them look even better. Such is also the case with the Bulgari Diagono Scuba. While we like the orange version, it is the yellow dialed one that we prefer.

Zenith Pilot Extra Special

Zenith Pilot Type 20 Extra Special
Red is a rare color in the world of watches, especially when it comes to men’s watches and even more so when the watch is also a pilot watch! But as Zenith shows, more brands should at least consider the color, as the result is quite stunning, and not even as avant-garde as you might expect!
