Specialty watch retailer, Govberg Jewelers announced today the appointment of Claudio Terjanian as director of retail.

Joining the leadership of the iconic Philadelphia store, Terjanian is to facilitate the company’s bold approach to luxury commerce, which has countered the overall decline in the industry.

“As an authority on watches, respected by both the industry and our extended Govberg network, Claudio embodies the energy, character and entrepreneurial spirit to blend the offline and digital Govberg experiences,” said CEO Danny Govberg in a press statement. “We are thrilled to have him represent and lead our team.”

Part of Terjanian’s duties is the streaming show Top Shelf Tuesday, which he is to host every Tuesday on Youtube. Exemplifying Govberg Jewelers’ so-called Retail 3.0 strategy of personal virtual engagement, the show will give Terjanian a platform to share his passion for high-end timepieces with a growing, global audience.

Prior to joining Govberg Jewelers, Terjanian was affiliated with the Franck Muller Group and Richemont, where he spent eight years as director of sales for Roger Dubuis North America. It is these past endeavors that had fostered Terjanian’s close work relationship with Govberg Jewelers even before he joined the company.

Govberg Jewelers offers exclusive brand representation in Philadelphia for horologers in the caliber of Patek Philippe, Rolex, Omega, Hublot, Panerai, Jaeger-LeCoultre, among others.
