With the aim of developing the brand in Asia, Christophe Claret met with collectors in Vietnam, Thailand and Singapore for a series of exclusive dinners during the month of June.
The South East Asia tour commenced with a dinner organized by Miluxe on June 7 in Hanoi, Vietnam. Several collectors enjoyed a first up-close look at the Christophe Claret collection. Miluxe is one of the most acknowledged exclusive distributors of luxury goods in Vietnam, currently running 5 multi-brand boutiques, 2 exclusive boutiques and 2 warranty centers in the country’s key economic centers: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) and Da Nang.
The second stop on the trip was Thailand. Another dinner took place the very next day, on June 8, at the Riedel Wine Bar in Bangkok. For Thai collectors, this was also the first time they met the master watchmaker, where he introduced his extremely complicated timepieces in person.
At the last leg of the tour, Sincere Fine Watches Limited, which operates more than 30 boutiques and a point-of-sale network spanning nine countries: Australia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan and Thailand, hosted a dinner on June 9, in Singapore.
About ten fine watchmaking connoisseurs were treated to delicious French cuisine at Les Amis restaurant, a nod to Christophe Claret’s homeland.
Here, the watchmaker unveiled his new collection, comprised of the latest models which were presented at SIHH in Geneva, earlier this year.
These included the Soprano watch, which combines two of the most beautiful horological complications: a 60-second tourbillon and a minute repeater with a Westminster chime, four patented gongs and four hammers, highlighted by stepped bridges inspired by the Charles X style.
