Founder, Creative Director and Executive Board Member of de Grisogono, Fawaz Gruosi, celebrated his birthday in style on August 8^th on the Costa Smeralda in Sardinia, Italy. Six hundred guests including international celebrities and other VIPs joined in the festivities while admiring a series of unique and exceptional high jewellery creations from the “Folies” Collection, showcased at the Hotel Cala di Volpe in Porto Cervo until August 15^th.

Among the pieces on display is this stunning necklace crafted in 132.61g of white gold, set with 1 pear-cut blue sapphire of 0.53cts; 6 pear-cut white diamonds for 16.88cts; 170 blue sapphires for 7.36cts; 477 icy diamonds for 56.81cts, and 1012 white diamonds for 34.58cts.

Parallel to the “Folies”, the haute brand, known for its bold jewelry and watch designs, is also making sure the latest marvels from other collections are brought closer to privileged clients in a handful of boutiques around the world, including the Dubai Mall Flagship Boutique in the UAE that has recently received the BABY GRAPPOLI with rubies and gently jiggling briolette-cut rubellites, unique high-jewelry ring and earring sets, and classic collection pieces such as the CUORE flexible wedding bands with heart-shaped emerald, ruby and diamonds.
