Today’s Haute Time Watch of the Day is one of the twelve pieces recently unveiled by Jaeger-leCoultre, as part of the Hybris Artistica Collection which exhibits the brands dedication to design, craftmanship, technology and art in watchmaking.

The Duomètre Sphérotourbillon Enamel encompasses all of these and more, with a Dual Wing concept using two distinct areas on the dial, on the left the Sphérotourbillon and on the right local time. There is also an additional dial which shows the time in a second time zone and a small second counter is positioned on the lower part of the dial. The stunning blue dial created in blue paillonné enamel, which gives the watch a whimsical feel. The skilled Artisan shaves a block of silver and places them on the enamel, to create the detail we see here, giving the dial a star dust look, which is spectacular.

The bezel of the Duomètre Sphérotourbillon Enamel is also decorated with the sam enamel detail, bringing the design together. The side of the case is engraved with a design inspired by the Doges’s Palace in Venice, and is then filled with the same blue enamel used for the dial and a tiny sapphire window

At the heart of the Sphérotourbillon beats the multi-axis tourbillon with a transparent sapphire bridge along with The ‘Dual Wing’ concept of the Calibre 382 movement, creating the perfect exhibition of a timepiece stemming from 180 years of watchmaking history by Jaeger-leCoultre.
