This is the all-black version of the watch that won the top prize at the prestigious Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Geneve in 2011. The case and lugs are made of sandblasted, oxidized zirconium. The DB28’s triangle-shaped bridge is unique to De Bethune, as are the self-regulating twin barrel, silicon/white gold balance, balance-spring with flat terminal curve, triple pare-chute shock-absorbing system, spherical moonphase indication and silicon escape-wheel. It contains a mechanical hand-wound movement, caliber DB2115, with a hand-decorated and snailed mainplate, and hand-polished and chamfered steel parts. It has a six-day power reserve.
