Today’s Haute Time Watch of the Day is The Royal Oak Concept GMT Tourbillon by Audemars Piguet which will be presented officially at SIHH 2014.
The new Royal Oak Concept GMT Tourbillon follows its predecessor, dating back to the first Royal Oak Concept created in 2002, which marked the 30th Anniversary of the legendary Royal Oak designed by Gerald Genta.
The New Concept features a bright white case, created from Alacrite 602, a type of titanium, and incorporates white ceramic for the octagonal bezel, crown and push-pieces, all coming together to showcase the beautiful titanium case middle and movement. The Newest Concept is powered by a Calibre 2930 hand-wound movement, which is also a new design, created by the Manufacture which incorporates white ceramic into the actual movement and features 10 day power reserve.
The Audemars Piguet Concept GMT is fitted with a stylish white rubber strap with a titanium AP folding clasp.
