Last week actress Bo Derek helped TAG Heuer celebrate the launch of the new ladies steel and rose gold Lady Aquaracer collection. The legendary beauty, who starred in the film 10, helped the Swiss manufacture host a special evening in London, England.

A longtime friend of the brand, Derek’s love of the Aquaracer was immortalized in a famous shot of the actress wearing the TAG Heuer watch and not much else! (Scroll down to see the NSFW photo below.)

Jack Heuer, the brand’s 80-year-old Honorary Chairman and the principle designer of the Aquaracer, told the story behind the photo. “I met Bo Derek’s father, Paul Collins in 1979, at Hobert “Hobie” Alter’s home in Southern California. After the meeting, Paul kindly offered to drive me back to the Los Angeles Airport, and during the long drive we got to know each other much better. At the airport he asked me if I could suggest on one of our Ladies Heuer skindiving watches, for his daughter for her 22rd birthday. Back in our office in New Jersey, I organized a nice discount with Feldmar in Los Angeles, where she chose the smallest model we made. Shortly before Christmas, I received from John Derek a Christmas card thanking me for the favor. Enclosed with it was a color slide of his wife, Bo Derek – wearing only our watch!”

The newest incarnations of the Lady Aquaracer, which were unveiled at Baselworld, include the Aquaracer Lady 27mm Diamond Dial Diamond Bezel, the Aquaracer Lady 34mm Automatic, the Aquaracer Lady 40mm Automatic, and the Aquaracer Lady 34mm Diamond Dial Automatic.
