On Wednesday evening, Blancpain held a special dinner recognizing 3 Michelin Star Chef Daniel Humm as a friend of the brand. The event was held at Chef Humm’s Eleven Madison Park Restaurant in New York, where guests were treated to a wonderful culinary experience while enjoying the Blancpain timepieces.
Vice President of Blancpain Alain Delamuraz and US Brand Manager Adam Bossi hosted the event along with Chef Daniel Humm who crafted a delightful multi-course dinner paired with wonderful wines and Blancpain timepieces.
Prior to being seated for dinner, we were taken on a private tour of the Eleven Madison Park kitchen. We experienced how artfully each course is put together and the precision in which the food is prepared (much like that of a timepiece). One detail I couldn’t help but notice in the kitchen was a Blancpain Clock hanging on the wall. After experiencing a very special cocktail called the “Widow’s Kiss” which was prepared for us in the kitchen using liquid nitrogen we were seated to dinner.
Following each amazing course, we were given a presentation of a special Blancpain timepiece, each of which was passed around to all of the guests to experience. Much like the creations of Chef Humm, each Blancpain piece was paired with food and wine for each of us to enjoy - Blancpains’ Chinese Calendar, The Carousel, The Fifty Fathoms, and some absolutely stunning ladies pieces…one of which will debut at Baselworld in April.
