Once again, the house of Fabergé wowed female watch collectors at Baselworld. Following Peter Carl Fabergé’s strategy of employing the most skilled artisans, the brand continues to shine by greatly impacting the growing women’s watch market with their high-jewellery timepieces.

The landscape of the Kagem emerald mine in Zambia, which is owned by Fabergé’s parent company, Gemfields, was the inspiration behind the brand’s Lady Libertine I watch. A mesmerizing addition to Fabergé’s Dalliance collection, the gem-setting on its dial and central dome represents the Zambian terrain of Kagem, the very source of these emeralds. Leaf-shaped hands indicate the hours and minutes.

Employing the same inspiration from the Kagem emerald mine, the second piece, the Lady Libertine II features 2.22 carat strands of satin-finished emerald, hand-cut to form a unique base on the central part of the dial. An 18-carat white gold and diamond motif sits on the emerald base and is set with a cabochon emerald.
The rest of the dial is snow-set with 1.97 carats of brilliant-cut diamonds. The diamond-set bezel further allows this dazzling timepiece to stand-out as an out-of-the-ordinary design.

Inspired by a silver gilt, enamel and rock crystal desk clock created by Fabergé’ artisan Henrik Wigström in Saint Petersburg around 1910, Fabergé launches the Lady Levity in 2016 as part of its Dalliance collection. The 36mm watch sits elegantly on the wrist, and uses stylized indicators to display the time; a crescent moon for hours and rising sun for minutes. The central section of the timepiece features a unique man-in-the-moon decoration, a bespoke secret feature that can be personalized.
