When Haute Time spoke with Audemars Piguet CEO François-Henry Bennahmias in New York recently, we asked him what we could expect to see from Audemars Piguet at Art Basel this year.

“The only thing I can tell you is I saw it, and I’m blown away by the artist and what he is doing. If last year was a show-stopper, this is…I don’t know, what is the upgrade of a show-stopper?” Bennahmias said. Today, we’re finally get our first look at what to expect!

In its second year as a global Associate Partner of Art Basel, Audemars Piguet will have a lounge at Art Basel Hong Kong this May. According to the manufacture, the lounge will be created by leading French designer Mathieu Lehanneur. In addition to the mock-up pictured above, Audemars Piguet also revealed the lounge will feature a video installation by Austrian video artist Kurt Hentschläger.

Check out this sneak peek at what Hentschläger has in store, and stay tuned for more details as we get closer to the art fair!
