In order to commemorate the 14th anniversary of the Queen Elizabeth II Cup in Hong Kong, Audemars Piguet launched a limited edition timepiece of the Tradition collection.

Audemars Piguet was founded 137 years ago and has enjoyed a synergistic partnership with the Hong Kong Jockey Club for the sponsorship of the AP QEII Cup race since 1999. The cup has a literally regal history, founded in 1975 to mark a visit to Hong Kong by Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip.

The Audemars Piguet Queen Elizabeth II Cup 2012 wristwatch took design cues from a vintage custom-shaped pocket watch and features distinctive cushion-shaped 18-carat pink gold case. The plush case is coupled with the white lacquered dial and pink gold applied Arabic numerals and hands and gives the timepiece an elegant and clean aesthetic.
