Luxury boutiques are opening at a rapid pace around the globe, and Piaget and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are part of it, as the Geneva-based high watchmaker and jeweler opened the doors last week to its first boutique in the Saudi capital of Riyadh. Ideally located at the Kingdom Mall near the entrance of the Four Seasons, with direct access from the hotel, this new boutique comes in addition to the previously opened shop at Tahliya in Jeddah. It is the eighth for Piaget in the region.
Taking part in the ribbon-cutting ceremony were COO Awn Zureikat and General Manager Shawky AlNassr from Piaget Saudi partner and retailer Ali bin Ali Group, and Piaget Regional Brand Director Jean Marc Shammas with Area Manager Julien Missir.
Visibly pleased to address the VIP guests and media at the inauguration, and proud to open the brand’s first boutique in Riyadh, Jean Marc Shammas explained that “Piaget strategy is really focused on the region, and this boutique allows us to be closer to our Saudi customers who are very important to the brand”.
The new 135 m² shop follows the style and spirit of Piaget boutiques worldwide, with an architectural concept that leads the customer through a discreet, elegant ambiance of black and gold, with a mix of gloss and matte materials highlighted by dramatic lighting. Openness and hospitality invite visitors to enter with large bay windows showcasing the different creations that constitute the Piaget universe.
The complete Piaget timepiece collection is available in the boutique where you can discover the iconic ultra-thin 38mm Altiplano 900P for men and the ultra-feminine Tradition and Gala watches for ladies.
A full collection of jewelry is also on display, from fine and medium lines to exceptional pieces of high jewelry that include the Rose High Jewelry collection. One of the special services at this Riyadh boutique is the option to have private viewing upon request.
Other Piaget boutiques in the region are in Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, and in the UAE, with one in Abu Dhabi and two in Dubai.
