Luxury watchmakers A. Lange & Söhne made headlines this week with the announcement that the German company are opening their first US boutique. The Saxon company will establish their North American flagship in Palm Beach, Florida, on the prestigious Worth Avenue shopping street. The opening marks the company’s eighth boutique worldwide.

With neighbors like fine art galleries, designer labels and five-star restaurants, A. Lange & Söhne will be in good company at its new location. The company hopes this new foothold will expose new customers to A. Lange & Söhne’s world-renowned German engineering and artistry. The space itself harks back to the manufactory’s roots in Saxony, with a meticulously crafted interior featuring dark acacia wood, sandstone floors and the signature Lange grey. The Palm Beach flagship will also showcase the company’s history, which dates back to 1845, through a series of historic objects on display in the boutique, including rare novelties and high complication timepieces.

Wilhelm Schmid, the Lange CEO, said; “With Palm Beach, we are proud to be opening our eighth boutique worldwide. Our boutiques, however far from the brand’s Saxon homeland, emanate the true atmosphere of our brand tradition, giving connoisseurs of fine watches the opportunity for an impressive experience of the history and philosophy of Lange’s watchmaking artistry and craftsmanship.”

The new A. Lange & Söhne boutique is located at 252 Worth Avenue, Palm Beach, FL 33480. For store hours and more information, please call  561-659-6788 or visit the A. Lange & Söhne website.
