1. Tell us some of the most exciting developments at BOVET today?

We are currently testing several of our novelties for the coming years and I am pushing our team higher every year on the aesthetic, technical and innovative fronts and testing our limits for creativity always. I cannot share the details of one particular novelty that has me sleepless at times, you will have to join me in January of 2013 to find out.

2. What watch do you wear daily?

As not only the owner, but an avid BOVET collector, I enjoy several timepieces daily. Currently in my rotation would be the Amadeo Rising Star Tourbillon in Platinum Piece Unique, Ottanta Tourbillon in Red Gold and a prototype which remains unnamed.

3. If money was not a concern, which Bovet would you recommend to a customer?

The height of luxury is owning a unique timepiece and therefore would say that a uniquely customized Amadeo Rising Star Tourbillon with engravings and a miniature painting on the back may not be the most expensive in our collection, but is a symbol of BOVET’s heritage in unique traditional arts.

4. For movement, what watch do you produce that you are most proud of?

Again, the Amadeo Rising Star Tourbillon champions several categories including the technical one with its ultra-complicated 7-day triple time zone tourbillon mechanism with 2 independently controlled hours/minutes counters with day/night indicators.

5. Blackberry/Iphone/Android?

I don’t have any preferences as phones are inert objects and therefore transient.Having said that, and depending on which country I am in I usually end up with all three at times. I believe each can serve a different purpose for family, work or entertainment.
